BACK UP YOUR FILES

During the install process there will be changes made to the files in your theme layout directory. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you back up the ((your-theme/layout)) directory :

((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/themes/((YOUR_THEME))/layout/

Upload Files To Server

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the newest files and documentation, as well as the purchase code, you recieved when you purchased this item.
  2. UNZIP the downloaded package
  3. Upload YND_Panel-upload.zip package to your host
  4. Unzip YND_Panel-upload.zip in the root folder where you have wowonder installed : ((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/

OR

If this method is giving you any trouble because of your hosting file manager, or any other reason, then you will need to :

  • UNZIP the file YND_Panel-upload.zip on you local machine.
  • Open your favorite FTP CLIENT and log into your hosting.
  • UPLOAD the folder ../YND_Panel/ to your /((YOUR DOMAIN))/public_html/ directory.
  • you will then need to UPLOAD each file contained in the directory and and sub-directories of the folder ../YND-theme-files to the corresponding directory on your remote server. These files should be copied INDIVIDUALLY and you MUST ALLOW OVERWRITE.

The file structure should now look like the image below :

IMPORTANT!!! BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!!

MAKE SURE that the directory on your serer

((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/YND_Panel /uploads/

has permissions set to (777)

IMPORTANT!!! YOU SHOULD BE LOGGED INTO YOUR WoWonder SOCIAL SITE WITH AN ADMIN LEVEL ACCOUNT BEFORE RUNNING THE INSTALLER!!!

  • Make sure you have your PageFeeds Pro Purchase Code available!!!

  • Make sure you have your WoWonder database information handy!!!

  • In your browser go to https://((YOUR_DOMAIN.COM))/YND_panel/?page=install - BE SURE to replace ((YOUR_DOMAIN.COM)) with your actual domain name.

You should now see the screen displayed below in your browser :

You will now fill in all the fields with your own information as follows :

  1. The Purchase Code for PageFeeds Pro you recieved from our store ( https://shop.yubnub.digital ) when you purchased. The plugin package can be found in your My Account/Downloads section, and the license key can be found in My Account/License Keys.
  2. WoWonder Site URL - https://((YOUR_DOMAIN.COM)) - Replace with your actual Domain.
  3. WoWonder Database Name - The name of the database you created when you first set up WoWonder.
  4. WoWonder Database Host - Usually localhost, if not, consult your hosting provider.
  5. WoWonder Database Username - This is your DATABASE username, NOT your WoWonder username.
  6. WoWonder Database Password - This is your DATABASE password, NOT your WoWonder password.

Once you have entered all the correct information, click SUBMIT

If you have followed all directions to this point, and have not seen any error messages, the core of PageFeeds Pro w/ SocialSync has been succesfully installed on your server.

Theme Files

PageFeeds Pro comes with its required theme files for the WoWonder (Default), Sunshine, and WonderTag themes. They are located in the 'YND_theme_files' folder that was created when you initially uploaded and unzipped the package. In order for PageFeeds Pro to function, these files will need to be individually copied from the folders in YND_theme-files to the coresponding theme folder you are using with WoWonder - . the best way to do this is to use the file manager provided on your hosting.

The files to be copied will be :

  • content.phtml
  • page-setting-sidebar.phtml
  • y_feeds.phtml

TO :

DESTINATION : ((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/themes/((YOUR_THEME))/layout/page-settings/

- AND -

FROM :

SOURCE : ((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/YND_theme_files/((YOUR_THEME))/layout/story/includes/

  • fetched_url.phtml

TO :

DESTINATION : ((YOUR_DOMAIN))/public_html/themes/((YOUR_THEME))/layout/page-settings/

You are now ready to proceed to the Cron Job section of the documentation.
