EZ Install Guide

⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE INSTALLING

If you already have our other plugin, PageFeeds Pro! for Sngine, installed on your platform, * DO NOT * follow the installation steps on this page. Instead, please refer to the Sync Pagefeeds Guide specifically provided for this instance .

The reason for this is we are adapting our plugin panel to manage our exising, and future, plugins from one location and until we have both existing plugins in sync a standard install will break one or the other. the panel will feature auto-updates, direct links to support and resources, and other features that will make your life easier in managing our plugins on your Sngine system.

THIS STEP WILL NOT BE REQUIRED IN FUTURE UPDATES

Installation is FAST and EASY with our included EZ-Installer! Just follow the outlined steps below and your BlogFeeds Pro! will be up and running in just a few moments.

New Installation

This method if only for new installs of this plugin. If you have previously installed our other plugin, PageFeeds Pro! for Sngine, on this system , or if you have made, had any changes made to, or installed any other plugin that effects these files :

public_html/content/themes/default/templates/_user_menu.tpl
public_html/content/themes/xngine/templates/_user_menu.tpl
public_html/content/themes/delengine/templates/_user_menu.tpl

you will need to follow the directions in the ** Sync PageFeeds** portion of this documentation.

IMPORTANT!!! YOU SHOULD BE LOGGED INTO YOUR SNGINE SOCIAL SITE WITH AN ADMIN LEVEL ACCOUNT BEFORE RUNNING THE INSTALLER!!!

Step 1: Upload the Package

Upload the zipped file named:

YND_panel.zip

directly to the root directory of your Sngine application.

Once uploaded, extract the contents to replace and update the existing YND_panel folder.

Step 2: Move and replace the following files:

YND_theme-files/content/themes/default/templates/_user_menu.tpl
YND_theme-files/content/themes/xngine/templates/_user_menu.tpl
YND_theme-files/content/themes/elengine/templates/_user_menu.tpl

To:

public_html/content/themes/default/templates
public_html/content/themes/xngine/templates
public_html/content/themes/elengine/templates
  • NOTE : These are the theme files for the dropdown user menu prompt to access the YND Plugin Panel. Only move the files for the themes you have installed. if you create these files on your server for themes not yet installed, you will have to re-copy them after theme installation.

Run the INSTALLER

  • Enter your purchase code when prompted.

  • Enter your DATABASE name, username, password (the same one used to host your Sngine data).

  • Click Install to complete the setup.

  • If you have not seen any error messages delete the /YND_panel/install.php

Installation Complete

Congratulations! Blogfeeds Pro! Extension is now successfully installed.

To configure, visit:

https://yourdomain.com/YND_panel

Your Sngine blog is now ready to auto-fetch and publish full content from RSS feeds!
